The Board recognizes its responsibility to conduct its official business in an orderly and open manner as required by law.  As a general rule, the Board shall not tape student disciplinary hearings, teacher conferences or staff grievance hearings.  The Board shall ensure that an accurate record is kept of such proceedings. 

The Board shall protect the privacy of students and employees in accordance with the requirements of the Education Employment Procedures Law (EEPL) and the Family Education Rights Privacy Act (FERPA).
